Valentina, being a worthy bearer of the surname upon arrival in Belarus is also noticed and noted the originality of folk costumes, shyness, combined with the naughtiness of the Belarusian dance, the sadness and humor of choreographic miniatures, the romance of Midsummer dances. Who did not know, was surprised: how could she, a native of the steppe of southern Russia (Gaevaya was born in Volgograd region), and we know the soul of the Belarusians. She remembered grandmother's stories about her husband, the grandfather of Valentina, whose name was unfamiliar in those parts by the name of Ales, its unique dialect, which is their family nickname stuck Verevkina, because words like "rope" or "rag" in their family was pronounced in Belarusian firm.

And now fans of the ensemble, many remember his number at concerts asked them to perform the famous "Jolly", endlessly called on stage the veteran of the collective — the honoured artist of Belarus, the favourite of the audience of Fedor Yakovlevich, Balalaika. Every year the ensemble renews and replenishes the repertoire. But at concerts the audience expect and demand from "Goroshek" performance and familiar rooms. This is understandable — in miniature three minutes, a whole period of life with its beauty and nechistoty, love and betrayal, girlish whims and cheerful guys. For the young — today's episode their relationship, for the elderly — a bright memory of youth.
